Super Easy Tres Leches Cake Recipe
Tres Leches Cake or Three Milks cake is a delicious, moist cake. The cake is made by soaking cake with sweetened condensed, evaporated and whole milk.
Semi-Homemade – I have simplified the recipe but the taste is just as good. This recipe is easy enough for a novice baker. Simple to find ingredients with step by step instructions. I have made this recipe from scratch, however, this recipe tastes just as good with less effort.
Versatile – Tres Leches cake is great to serve at holidays, family gatherings or any time.

TRES LECHES CAKE

Ingredients
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1-13.8 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2/3 cup whole milk
1-12 ounce can evaporated milk
1 – 8 ounce container whipped topping (cool whip)
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Bake cake following box instructions.
- Leave cool for 1 hour.
- In a bowl combine, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk and evaporated milk.
- Mix well.
- When the cake has cooled, pierce cake with a fork.
- Pour milk mixture over entire cake.
- Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Topping: In a bowl, combine whipped topping, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. When cake has cooled, top with whipped topping.
Chill 30 minutes and serve.
