Snickerdoodles Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
2-½ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup or 2 sticks butter or margarine
2 eggs
sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl cream the butter until it’s smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then gradually incorporate 1-1/2 cups sugar into the mixture.
- Add flour and mix together until combined.
- In a small bowl add 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Stir together using a fork. This is the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
- Scoop about a walnut sized portion of the dough and form into a ball. Then roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave space between the cookies as they will expand.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
